Join one of our free volunteer-led gallery introductions to gain an insight into our exhibits and collections.
These informal 30-minute sessions invite you to explore a selected gallery, display or aspect of the Ashmolean collection. Topics vary from day to day and are subject to volunteer availability.

- Gallery introductions last around 30 minutes and usually begin at 11am, and at 2pm on some days
- Please look out for signs in the Museum or ask at the Welcome Desk on arrival for that day's meeting point and topic.
Looking for a more in-depth experience?
Our Ashmolean Highlights Tour is a 60-minute staff-led, guided tour offering a deeper introduction to the Museum's displays and collections. Tours run regularly on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are £15 and advance booking is required.
