We are serving our Lunch menu every day, 12–3pm, and our Afternoon Tea menu every day, 3–4pm.

Booking in advance is strongly recommended. We are not currently open for breakfast or dinner.

For Lunch or Afternoon Tea

Please bring your booking confirmation (printed or on a mobile device) to the front entrance of the Museum and join the main General Admission queue.

Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your booked entry time, unless you are in possession of a separate Museum ticket with an earlier time.

 

 

 

Lunch and Afternoon tea bookings include general admission to the Museum after your visit to the restaurant. Please note the Museum galleries close at 5pm.

Please arrive at the Museum no more than 5 minutes before your restaurant booking time. Admission to the galleries/Museum will not be allowed until after your visit to the restaurant, unless you are in possession of a separate Museum ticket with an earlier time.

 

ALREADY HAVE A TICKET FOR THE MUSEUM?

If you are already in possession of an exhibition ticket, please note that your entry time for the exhibition and your booked Restaurant time are strict. Please do not book them for the same time otherwise you will not be able to visit one or the other.

If you are already in possession of a General Admission ticket for the Museum you may also book for the Restaurant, for the same time or a different time, and no further action is required. Please ensure that you visit the Restaurant, on the 4th floor, at the time of your Restaurant booking.

 

 

MASKS: Masks do not need to be worn when you are seated and eating in the restaurant, but we strongly request that visitors wear face coverings in the Museum including when arriving and leaving the restaurant and when visiting the restrooms. Our team will continue to wear face coverings.

LIMITED STAYS: You may stay in the restaurant for 1.5 hours after your lunch booking time, and 1 hour after your afternoon tea booking time as this allows for a full cleaning of the restaurant between seatings. Please note the restaurant closes at 4.30pm.

ENHANCED CLEANING: We have taken all necessary steps to ensure the safety of all guests to the Rooftop Restaurant, and our staff. Tables have been socially distanced, and enhanced cleaning measures have been put in place to comply with government guidelines.

PAYMENT: We would ask that you pay by card/smart device whenever possible to reduce contact.

 

If you suspect you have symptoms of coronavirus, we ask that you delay your visit, contact us, and follow government guidance.
