VISITING INFORMATION FOR MEMBERS
Open Tuesday to Sunday 10.00–17.00
Entry for all special exhibitions is completely free to Members, and there is no need to book. Just present a valid Membership card at the exhibition entrance.
Please speak to a member of staff at the Welcome Desk or in the Museum shops should you require a temporary Membership card.
Ashmolean Museum Membership only covers entry for any named Members and is not transferrable.
Any non-Member guests will need to purchase tickets to our special exhibitions, and we strongly recommend you book in advance online to avoid queueing at the Ticket Desk or long waiting times for telephone bookings.
At peak times we advise any Members with guests to arrive at the exhibition entrance 10 minutes before a booked time slot to ensure entry to the exhibition at the same time.
Peak times are from 3pm onwards on weekdays and weekends.
ABOUT FRIENDS OF THE ASHMOLEAN MUSEUM
The Friends of the Ashmolean Museum, since 1969, has played a vital role in supporting the Museum. Support from our members helps grow the Museum, not just in its collection, but also its work in conservation, research and outreach. It also helps ensure the continuation of the delivery of its eye-opening Exhibition Programme and its outstanding Education and Outreach Programme to inspire a new generation of museum-lovers.
